Phillip Lanier was born and raised in Louisiana. He received his undergraduate degree from Nicholls State University and a Masters Degree in Conducting from LSU. He is the composer/arranger of 20 musicals for children, hundreds of instrumental and choral works and owns and operates a full time music studio -- Frick and Frack Music in Fredericksburg, VA. Phillip is also an accomplished Trumpet player. He enjoys playing in his church orchestra. He is the Musical Director for the Stafford Regional Handbell Society -- a community handbell organzation that has 9 different ensembles to meet the needs of ringers grade 2 - adult. He is also the co-creater of The Great Christmas Ring -- a mass ringing event for 3 octave handbell choirs.
